Tillie

What a cutie. Tillie has gone to live with her new Mum, after she lost her last puppy in a hit and run. The smiles tell the story as to this happy ending

Tina

Ben and Lisafrom Coolangatta, rang about Tina who they seen on the web site and drove all the way up to Maryborough to get her. She is a 4 yr. old, desexed Fox Terrier x and has been with us for a little over a month. They are a lovely couple that could not say enough nice things about the refuge and loved the way some of animals were allowed to roam free. Tina will be taken down to the beach every day as they all swim every morning. Tina was so happy and Lisa could not stop hugging her. (Note that one of Cheryles' own cats wanted to go home
with them too!).

Ruskie

Don't I look cute!!! I lived at the refuge for a short time in Sept 2003, after my Aunty Petrea found me wandering the streets. As you can see, I just love my Mum and Dads' new chickens and watch over them everywhere they go. I also LOVE hanging out with the horses (and eating lots of horse poo) and playing at Nanas' house. It's so much fun over there, because she has little dogs everywhere and feeds us heaps and she even lets us bring our smelly bones in the house (when Poppy isn't home)... hope you like my photos....

P.S. Please say hello to all the homeless pets for me and I hope they all get loving families soon, in happy homes, just like mine.

Most of my doggy family is from the Refuge ...
We are (from left to right) Muffin, Benny, Scruffy, Jessica (a.k.a. Jeanie), Goldie (Jessica's mum) and Me. Sometimes are get a little naughty but not dear old Muffin, who has neer been naughty in his life.

Bella

Bella was with us for quite some time, having been rescued from the Hervey Bay Pound ... you can see an "adopted" picture of her on the specials page, riding in the car. She now lives on 5 acres and her Mum & Dad say that she has a swim in the dam every morning and that we couldn't buy her back for $1,000,000!!!

Chloe

Chloe was adopted by Jo from the Maryborough District Animal Refuge, approximately 12 months ago. She is also a regular star at the Fraser Coast Agility Club where she trains with Jo and is now in the intermediate class.

Jock

Approximately 8 months ago, Jo also adopted Jock from the Maryborough Refuge and is also a student at the Club. Well done Jo for giving both these beautiful dogs a wonderful life.

Tessa

Tessa is one of the lucky ones that has fallen into the arms of Ann Marie. Tessa has been
now living with Ann Marie sinch March 2002 and is a regular star at the Fraser Coast Agility Club, where she trains and competes in Agility. A very smart, brave and clever little girl.

Ruby

These pictures are of Ruby who was adopted from the Maryborough District Animal refuge over 12 months ago. Since adopting her, Desiree and her husband had to have Ruby's back legs operated on. She is now fit and healthy and "spoilt rotten". She really has been a lucky little girl. Ruby now lives with a cat who has also been adopted from the Maryborough Refuge just recently and both Ruby and the cat love each others' company and even sleep together.

Whilst Ruby was convalescing from her operation she learnt how to suck a dummy to keep herself occupied. Ruby also loves lying around in in the swimming pool

and loves a bath.

Bindi

This is a great Happy Endings.
Bindi wasadopted from the refuge
and booked into Agility Beginners
Class. The trainer of this
class was Sharon Steele.
When Bindi cameup for adoption
again, Sharon took her intoher care
and at present she is excelling
at Agility and is seen here
competing at the Fraser Coast
Agility Classic at Burrum Heads.
A very lucky little girl!

Kane

This is Kane, yet another of the refuge dogs that has been adopted and along with his new owner Evelyn, just loves doing agility. Here they are, competing at the Fraser Coast Agility Dog, Easter Classic Competition at Burrum Heads.

Rupert

Hi everyone!

I just love my new family and have settled in really well. My brothers Hamish and Kermit are great and our humans really know how to spoil us! They love taking photos of us all together and have attached a couple for you to see. Mum has also signed the guest book on my behalf.

Take care all,

Love Rupert
